The Art of Drag Transformation is back for a 2nd year! 😍💅

Join us for the second year of our Art of Drag Transformation Course and celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with us! 🏳️‍🌈

This 5-week course will help you develop the skills of drag performance, build confidence, feel empowered, and explore a more extravagant version of yourself. 🤩

If you're comfortable, you’ll also have the opportunity to perform in front of fellow students and showcase your new persona at our Halls Life Ball in March.

We will provide materials for your costumes and makeup, as well as support you with your final look for the showcase. 💄

The course will be run by our amazing resident Drag Queen, Eileen Eiffel, as well as other special guests, tbc..👀

Course Breakdown

Session 1 - 1st February: Confidence Workshop 🙌
Break the ice, discover how you feel most comfortable, explore the skills you bring, and meet your fellow students.

Session 2 - 8th February: Talent Discovery 🎤
Refine your talents and learn new performance skills.

Session 3 - 15th February: Makeup Basics & Costume Design 👗
Learn essential drag makeup techniques—blocking eyebrows, contouring, and more.
Experiment with different styles to find what suits you best, and begin planning your costume using what you already own.

Session 4 - 22nd February: Makeup & Costume (Part 2) 💄
Focus on the specific makeup skills you want to improve to bring your drag character to life.Continue creating your costume.

Session 5 - 1st March: Rehearsal & Final Touches ✨
Perfect your performance!
If you choose to perform at the Halls Life Ball, this session will help you prepare.

Cost & Booking:
If you plan to attend the full course, we ask for a £20 deposit (£5 per session) to guarantee your spot. Your deposit will be refunded upon completing the course.

You can also choose to attend individual sessions at a cost of £5 each (non-refundable).
