We are proud to introduce you to the new cohort of student halls committee members for 2025/2026! 👋🏡
Each hall will have an amazing and dedicated pair of committees who work closely with the fabulous Halls Life team, bringing you amazing events and wellbeing initiatives to your hall throughout the year!
There are two types of roles that the committee members will be allocated, including the following:
They will be responsible for creating and delivering weekly events for the students living in their halls 🎪📝
They will be responsible for creating and delivering promotional and marketing campaigns around the halls for the weekly events that take place for the students 🗣️🤳

Joane Adekunle - Event Lead

Nora Binte Jumari - Communications Lead

Jasper Cushing - Event Lead
Fun fact about Jasper: “Hi there! I’m Jasper, my fun fact is that I found a tiny orphaned crochet shrimp walking to the tube station from uni one day and now I carry him everywhere with me, I named him Shrimp, naturally, and he has lots of friends as I’m a big teddy collector! :)

Jaleena Finney - Communications Lead
Fun fact from Jaleena: “I recently discovered I have a real enjoyment for chess. Since moving to London have immersed in the skill and culture of chess. This inspired me to directing and publishing a short documentary on women in chess called “Moves that matter”

Rucha Gadge - Event Lead
Fun fact from Rucha: “I have been pretty unathletic for most of my life until 2 years ago when I randomly joined swimming classes. Fast forward to now, and I’m juggling five different activities: running, swimming, weight training, aerial arts, and pilates. These days I'm kind of covered in bruises but I definitely love it”

Fun fact from Tasha: “Hi! I'm Tasha, a comic artist, illustrator and animator from Singapore, studying BA Graphic Branding and Identity at LCC. I'm the owner of a home-based bakery, and specialise in making bespoke Italian macarons and bento cakes!”

Saleema Hussain - Event Lead
Fun fact about Saleema: “Hi, I’m Saleema :)
I love discovering new places and living out ‘movie moments’, with my ever-growing Spotify playlists playing like the perfect soundtrack. For me, the quieter days are for enjoying a cup of tea (three sugars, always) and a good book or film.
Also, I must mention that I’m a major cat person - even if I’m currently cat-less at The Costume Store.”

Fun fact about Ib: “Hi! My name is Ib and a fun fact about me is I am Christian and am really passionate about faith, love and building community! I also have a passion for storytelling using lenses and words!”
