Our popular 'Sexpectations' event is back for the 5th year in a row 🤩

Come and listen to our panel of special guests, and hear a brave and fun conversation on intimacy, self-love, sexuality, online/app dating, self esteem, being a virgin, sex parties and more! 💘🍆

GMI will also be doing free sexual health testing on the night too!

You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have too 🤔

Ruby Rare

Ruby Rare (she/they) is an award-winning sex and relationships expert with a decade's experience redefining intimacy. She's the author of Sex Ed: A Guide for Adults and The Non-Monogamy Playbook, and is Feeld's resident Intimacy Expert. In 2025, she worked with BPAS on a successful campaign for abortion reform in England and Wales. She is currently training to be an Intimacy Coordinator.

She’s collaborated with brands including LADbible, Pasante, and LELO, and her work has been featured by The Guardian, Independent, Cosmopolitan, and on BBC Woman’s Hour. Ruby is celebrated as a trailblazer bringing nuance, curiosity, and joy to the conversations most people shy away from. A dual-heritage, queer, non-monogamous educator, Ruby goes where many practitioners won't, with a combination of professional expertise and lived experience that gives her work a rare warmth and credibility.

Scotty Unfamous

Scotty Unfamous is an award-winning sex educator and romance author whose work centres Black erotic power, pleasure, and justice. Through workshops, events, and online content, she champions inclusive sex education that is radically joyful, culturally relevant, and politically rooted. Her content blends storytelling, sensuality, and social commentary—offering a space where marginalised voices are not just included but celebrated.

She creates content that speaks to identity, desire, and dismantling shame, with a specific focus on the experiences of Black women and queer people. Her flagship workshop, "How To Live Your Best Heaux Life", offers a soft, welcoming introduction to kink while helping participants build confidence, explore fantasies, and communicate with clarity. Scotty brings energy, expertise, and empowerment to every platform she touches, creating space for pleasure and liberation.

Jennie Williams

is the founder and CEO of Enhance the UK (ETUK), a user-led charity which helps people with physical and sensory disabilities to live a full life. She set it up after working in the care sector and becoming frustrated with the lack of practical information and support available for people who wanted to know more about communicating with disabled people both professionally and personally.

Jennie, who has degenerative hearing loss also wanted to encourage open conversation and education around sex and disability. The charity’s Undressing Disability campaign focuses on the sexual rights and responsibilities of disabled people. It includes the ‘Love Lounge’, podcasts, videos and books alongside an online forum for advice and answers regarding sex, dating and relationships for those with impairments.  Jennie is a proud pansexual.

Cain 

Cain (aka @thatcainguy) is a multidisciplinary creative working across queer nightlife, live content creation, and storytelling. With over a decade of experience, he is known for his sharp emotional intelligence, magnetic vulnerability, and deeply intentional approach to every space he moves through. He has built a strong reputation for crafting bold, immersive projects that centre queer desire and subversive artistry..

Alongside this, Cain is also a performer and erotic content creator, using visual media to explore masculinity, kink, and pleasure as both resistance and art. Sober for over six years, he speaks openly about his recovery and lived experience, often weaving themes of resilience, connection, and queer joy into his work.

The event will be taking place in Archwood House common room, if you are not a Archwood House resident, please do ensure to sign in at reception.

Access Notes:

Quiet Time: quiet 30 minutes at the start of the event 

Seating arrangements: Various seating is available in the space throughout the event. Seating is on first come first serve we can reserve seating for students with access needs, they need to contact us 72 hours in advance.

BSL Interpreters:  BSL interpreters if required can be booked but we need 2 weeks notice to be given.

The archwood common room is step free and accessed via the ground floor.

Students that do not live at Arcwhood house will need to sign in register their attendance at reception where one of our friendly staff will escort you in groups across the courtyard to the venue spacre
