FAQ's from the webinars
Arrivals & Check-In 🏡
No. Most students will arrive on 5 September, but you can move in later if you wish. Please add your arrival date to your E-Induction. Be aware that your rent starts from the contract start date.
Yes. You can go back into your E-Induction and amend your arrival date and time.
Complete your E-Induction as soon as possible and enter an approximate arrival date. Once your plans are confirmed, you can return and update the date.
E-induction 🌐
The E-Induction is available through your accommodation portal. It contains important fire safety information and must be completed before check-in.
Rent & Payments 💰
The first instalment is due on 5 September for most contracts. Refer to your Tenancy Agreement to confirm the precise date.
Rooms & Allocations 🚪
Students select the room type they want, and rooms are then allocated randomly.
No. You will meet your flatmates when you check in.
Kitchen Facilities 🍽️
Shared kitchens typically include a kettle, microwave, oven, cooktop, and toaster.
Yes. Students should bring their own pots, pans, knives, cutlery and cooking equipment.
Bedrooms 🛏️
Yes. All rooms are provided with a mattress.
No. You will need to bring your own pillow and duvet.
Internet & Facilities 🛜
Yes. Free Wi‑Fi is available throughout the halls.
Deliveries 📦
Yes, but only up to a maximum of 3 days prior to arrival. Ensure your name, student ID number and hall address are clearly displayed.
Guests 🫂
One guest may stay for up to 3 nights within any 14-day period.
Electrical Safety 🔌
No. Only UK plugs are permitted.
